ERU Exam Schedule Policy..

Dear students,

Since exam schedule is released, students are advised to check their exam schedule whether it is clashing or beyond the exam schedule policy.

SRC advice students to make immediate feedback to ERU if their exam schedules are being found clashing or beyond the exam schedule policy or too pack.

Besides, SRC also encouraging the student to report this matter to SRC so that SRC can follow up with ERU whether ERU can help the students to reduce the stressful exam schedule.

For your information,

ERU EXAM Schedule Policy is as below:

3 things must be avoided

-     Intensity (not more than 3 subjects in 2 days, 4subjects in 3 days, and 5 subjects in 4 days)

-          Cannot have 2 exams which duration is 3 hours each in one day (Accounting, Law)

-          Clashing

When and how to set the exam schedule policy

-          Draft exam schedule ( long semester: Week 6/7, short semester: Week 4)

-          Release exam schedule 3 weeks before the final exam

-          Open for comment the feedback in 1 week time

-          It is not finalize yet, ERU will find to find the best slot for the students to avoid compact exam schedule.

Priority

-    Request from the lecturer (Maternity leave, End of contract)

-          Law  Subjects

Besides, here are some information after we had a meeting with ERU and some action taken by ERU as well as suggestion from SRC.

Action taken by ERU :-

ERU will try to give higher priority to those students who are following their course structure, core subjects compare to University subjects which are the minor ones (Moral, Malaysian Studies, English, Technical Communication, Co-curriculum and etc) .

If it happens to open a slot for night time, ERU will ask approval from the top management (VP academic).

Suggestion from SRC :-

It is highly advisable for the students to check out their exam schedule once ERU release the exam schedule so that students can avoid the compact exam schedule and immediately give their feedback comment to ERU. Hence, ERU will take immediate action to help the students as well.
