Supplementary Examination

A very good day to all,

There is no such decision to impose a sum of 30% onto students who wish to take the supplementary examination. MMU plans to discourage students from taking the supplementary examination as well as decrease the number of students who take advantage of the supplementary examination and they have yet to find a solution that is effective. Among the suggestions to halt students from taking advantage is by imposing a fee on the supplementary exam or making the supplementary examination harder. At this time no decision has been made and it is still in the process of discussion. However, Dr. Wong (vice president for academic Multimedia University) feels that it is unfair to impose a fee on supplementary examinations. The toughness of the supplementary examination is decided by the lecturers as it isn’t a policy and it depends on the lecturer himself/herself. The main idea of this issue is to discourage and minimize the number of students from taking advantage or choosing supplementary examinations as an alternative.
